Winter hunt one wknd... summer hunt the next...  Grin

Hit the woods early as the forecast high was in the 80's... Turned out, caught two boars back to back about 150... Shine and Lee's Camo dog workin' good together, my Snook dog.... not so much.  She been wantin' to be a cow dog since I started her... not gonna fight her no more... Good thing for her I'm a poor shot free hand....

Didn't stop to take pictures as we tend to fall back into the "2 minute drill" when we got the heat to contend with... pulled off and dropped the meatheads out, they picked a trail, rolled out and caught another black boar about a hundred... old hog, big shields and no teeth... odd...

The "gruesome twosome"...  Grin  Two old men who LOVE givin' me chit!!!  Grin  You make a mistake in front of these guys, you can bet yo ass you gonna hear about it by the end of the day!!!  Grin  Wish there were more around like them.

Lee an' Seffer wrastlin' with one... Gotta love those saw palmetto-between the knuckle-cuts....  Grin

My Shine, eternal saw palmetto cuts to the bone beneath each eye... really turnin' out to be a fine dog.  You kick her out, you gonna bay a hog up.  Goin' through her first "false pregnancy"... wish I knew how to stop that...

Made a point to do some cattle breaking with my pups... man, if there's one thing that really aggrevates me about my dogs it's gettin' them broke off cattle...

Tiger, after tonin' the shockin' unit out... still ready ta get some... Grin

Whaler after some "shock therapy"  Grin

Whaler... also gonna be wearin' a shock collar for a good while...

Reptiles were on the move today, good thing we were ready for them...  Wink   This pic is the exact location that Ellie went down and was recovered...  She bayed a group up on the left edge of the creek... when they broke across, the gator caught Ellie before she could get to the other side... Still gives me the willies thinkin' about how many times we swam across this creek goin' to a bay before realizing how many big gators hang out on the strecth...

A red sunset... camera didn't do it justice... Hogs laid down after lunch, never could get anything else jumped but still had a great time!!!

Good hunt buddy,....glad y'all did some good. I'm glad that we don't have that 'cattle' thing to contend with......just don't really hunt where they are much. I'd hate to have that gator menace to think about...they're down in GA where we hunt, but so far I haven't seen any until after we stop hunting due to the heat. Gorgeous pics of that territory....only hunted Florida once and that was in the norht part. Good luck with the shock therapy.....catch you later.

Good pics Noah!

Gators are just something that we deal with hunting down here in florida. It's uncommon to hunt a place that doesn't have them!
