I am very new to this all, wondering how far out is short, med., and long range in terms of running dogs?? Thanks

Thats gonna be different with everyone. I dont like to put a "range" on a dog because how can a person know the exact time and spot a dog picks up a trail of a hog.

I used to put a range on them but now short u see them most of the time med u see them some they check in long they are gone huntin. This is not perfect but seems to be a pretty right for us
