Lost and Found My BMC Pup Because of Collar!

I lost my little yellow pup yesterday and had no idea where he was. I left our ranch and went down 3 highways and nearly twenty miles of county roads to my hunting lease. When I got there he was no longer in the back of the truck. He finally learned why you don't jump up on the side of the truck bed the hard way. I retraced my route 3 times but never saw him. Got a call from a guy from Ontario Canada this evening that was staying at an RV park a few miles from our lease. He told me he had found my yellow lab. I shared some information with him about working dogs and cur dogs which he had never heard of. He said he also had never heard of putting your phone number on a dogs collar.
