Anyone ever get a straight answer on hunting the Texas national forest with hog dogs. I have talked to and emailed several different people and have gotten a different answer from every single person.

I know u can hunt the Davey Crockett national forest with dogs. The only thing to remember is to wear hunters orange. Even outside of deer season. My 2 buddies were hunting out their this last weekend and got a $75 ticket for not wearing hunters orange. I thought the guy should have gave them a warning but he didn't and slapped em with a fine. A little extreme in my opinion being that it's not deer season. Heck I didn't even know that rule till just the other day
