We decided to go make a quick round last night in the cold. We took duke, angel, cricket, tuff, and a young pup out of duke. For a catchdog we took my lil red pit duce and my buddies bulldog jack. We turned em out and started headin down the creek. Duke, angel, cricket and tuff disapeared for about five minutes then i duke let out his deep balw like strike bark and then all the others start pitchin in. We took off down the creek and ran about half a mile until we could see the dogs with a big boar bayed up on top of the creek bank it was about a twenty foot drop and we were right below em in the dry creek when all of sudden the hog turned and took off runnin down the bank right at us i kicked my catchdog loose and my buddy let his go mine met the hog head on and got hammered but somehow ended up on an ear my buddies dog hit the other ear right after that and i ran up and grabbed em then me and my buddy got em flipped and tied and bulldogs off i went to check my dogs for cuts because the hog had at least 3in teeth on both sides. I looked at tuff and he had a puncture hole from the hogs wetters right in his side then another hole in his chest i found out he has a fractured rib so not good. I checked my buddies catchdog and he had about a 4in gash under his leg we got him doctored then i go check my best dog duke and he has a bad hit in the ribs it punctured his body cavity and broke two ribs and hit a lung and the inside of his front leg was ripped wide open.  :(Yea it was bad and i didnt think he was gonna make it so i got a holt of the vet and he said staple the wound shut and rap it in saran wrap to seal it off then put vet wrap around it so we did all that and got em home we kept em in the house and he seems to be doin good he is actually layin right here beside me as i type this im real glad hes makin it Grin i hope he pulls on through. Pics of hog coming by tomorow!

FOR YALL WHO LIKE THE SHORT SWEET VERSION OF IT.

We went out huntin dogs got bayed caught big boar hog with at least 3in teeth cut two dogs real bad then got my best dog in the ribs and got a peice of a lung. But he is still alive and doin good hes gettin the special treatment he is actually layin right here beside me as i type this.
