Buddy, mostly a RCD but we're getting more dogs so his days of hunting are just about over, he ranges out farther than a lot of curs and its getting scarey,  he'll be a lead-in catch dog (if I still decide to hunt him after the first of the year)

The red female is APBT

The white dog is American Bulldog

I use them as lead in catch dogs. If they can hear the bay they'll go.

Ringo  APBT

How I hunt him depends on who I'm hunting with. Sometimes he is a one out dog. He will find em and catch em. If I'm huntin him with curs, he is a lead in dog and will go to a bay.

Flatbroke,

Quote
Great looking dog chris.

Thanks, he was a backyard savage when he was younger, and his owners could not keep him from tearing things up. He was given away, and I ended up with him. Looks like he just needed a job.  What he lacks in refinement, he makes up for in heart.

This is Meathead, not much to look at. He is slow, and even a fatboy can beat him to the bay, right Thomas Grin   Lead in, 5 years old. No chance of being a RCD Wink

Clifford,
      After hunting behind Clifford about a dozen times, I made some calls to try to track down some bellymates. No luck there, and I cannot afford cloning, so I guess I will just have to settle for getting to hunt behind him. If someone asked me to describe my ideal catchdog, I would show them his picture.

cull Buck,
Here is the father of your pup, Victor, one of my Catdo's.  1/2 Catahoula and 1/2 Dogo.

This is Victor's older brother, Lex;

This is your pups mother, out of Dogo female Star owned by Longshot and My Mason's Chili.

This is Lex about 4 years ago, his mother white dogo, owned by James Davis, and Show Biz, my Catahoula;

Have been making this cross about 10 years and have been pleased with them.
Lead in, running catch, and one out.

HD,
I sure am happy with him. This weekend he went off about a 15ft straight drop off into a creek and never missed a beat, went up the other side and caught. He's never caught nothing but the ear for me. Check him out in the pics Bryant posted on this thread of the hog caught in the water (He's the one on the right ear, my red gyp is on the left) http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=2625.0

Here are the 2 I'm working with now. The AB on the left is my young project catch dog - just turned 1 year old this week.   The one on the right is "Ice" a pitt who is a RCD - but I use him as lead-in just as often.
