red cur around four years old,female,1/2 catahoula 1/4 ridgeback 1/4 BMC,a little trashy been working on it she walked through some cows earlier this year and didn't pay any attention to them, close range till she gets on one, silent, loose baying but will get gritty with a gritty dog,had her since a pup, tracking collar a must, $450 with a four week trial. has found lots of hogs.will show her hunt if you want. reason i'm getting rid of her is i have some new dogs that will strike good and i don't need her anymore. her belly sister put out some straight catch curs

I want to add the pic on the hood is just to show her. That was the only time she ever rode on a hood.

Someone on here pmd me and wants to know more about this dog so I'm going to put it here for anyone to see. I try and decribe her best as possible. If you have anymore questions just ask.

I got her from kenny phelps as a pup. He bred her out of his stock. She started finding hogs early. I honestly believe if your on some hogs she's gonna find them every time. She winds mostly won't take a trail unless its pretty hot. Silent untill strikes but will yip when chasing one. I wouldnt call her a stop dog but she has stopped and bayed some buy herself. She doesn't get gritty unless with a gritty dog, then she will get very gritty and help catch. She will back off when you get to the bay and start baying sometimes. Again she's a find dog. She used to trash quite a bit but this year she just ran a couple of deer and a coyote once at night. She has improved alot in that area. She likes to get out about a hundred to two hundred yards and hunt and will check back in and roll out. She won't stay at your feet unless you whip her then she will quit hunting for the rest of the day, lol. So don't whip her. But she has alot of hunt in her.  She's walk hunted boat hunted rides the fourwheeler good and will load up good.
She has some human agression to strangers but only when on her chain and in the back of the truck. So if you have kids keep that in mind. But, she wont mess with other dogs or people when hunting. I think she would settle in with a good dog man. The reason for the four week trial is that I want the person to keep her for a week or two and get her used to you before you mess with her. She is missing a front k9 tooth and doesnt seem to be a breeder. She's just came into heat two or three times since I had her. She's not anything great but she is good at finding hogs. If you have a real rough dog that wont find one but will go to bay this is the dog for you. Any more questions just ask.
