SsShhhhH! Chris -Your gonna let out the secret!

Seriously though, that is little Lotto, his name is Chief, and he belongs to Mike Hilscher, we are gonna start them in the woods pretty quick, most have been on hogs and half have hunted in the wooded pen, I am tickled with them! I just think next time I shave my Ass, we are gonna have to glue it on them slick haired ones.

Logan, it depends, most my dogs are pretty close and rough, however they are smart enough to know to back off if they are getting bounced around alot, I have come into sight of a bay and seen mine baying 2 feet off the nose of hog  trying to get a hog to charge em, and then we have walked up to 15-20 hogs bayed with my dogs back about 15 feet circling the group. The dogs are the only ones that know what is happening in their minds, as to what they can accomplish and what they can't.
That is why you will find that most folks on here that have been at it awhile, stick with what works for them, you get used to, and learn what ceratin dogs will and won't do and some folk are more compatible with certain dogs.

Those are some fine lookin' pups lance!!!! Grin  I can vouch for Rowdy's "little man syndrom" 'cause that little dog should've been dead several times in the short while I've known yall.  He's a rough little rascal, and always seems to find the hogs.

Here's my prettiest 2.... note I didn't say the best, just the prettiest.

Pepper.  3 yr old cat.

Max. year & a half old (?) 1/2 catahoula, 1/4 bmc, 1/4 pit.  Crappy pic, but he ain't photogenic at all.
