Too bad about your dog, this is a tuff sport for the dogs.  We lost one so far this year, and had a bunch get nicked.  But heck, there's no doubt that the dogs live for it, and would be less for it, if they weren't able to hunt.

Good Luck in the future.

Larry

Now the worst part of the story.curtis was given a business card of a vet by a local hog hunter.he called ahead and told them his situation.they told him to bring her on.upon arival the vet came in to view the dog and told him.oh no this is gonna take longer than 30min.i have regular customers comming for horse vaccinations in 30min.youll have to take her somewhere else.he headed home and left her with an emergency vet.this was after our vet we just started using told him bring her on then he couldnt get keys to a clinic to use.after a very exspensive surgery he picked up his dead dog the next am. Good one. Them hogs with smaller teeth are always rougher on the dogs.
