If you really wanna know about Parker dogs then get on his website and get his phone number off of it...I you don't see it just pm me and I'll get it for you.

Will tell they are hard hunting hog crazy dogs.  Hard to find better dogs that just consistently throw out some super nice dogs.  Larry is a heckuva guy to.

From what I've heard hunting fools and very very gritty. I heard since there so gritty they don't live long. Got a buddy out in Louisiana that just bought one pay $3000 for him. To me little much for a dog that won't last long.

Some dogs are worth that much in just their breeding...one litter and you should have at least half your money back...and then again some people just got more money then sense  Grin wish I had that problem

There are plenty guys i know that have parker curs that are 6+ yrs old and still hunting there tail off, matter of fact i know a guy with one thats 12+ still going. It all depends on the individual dog just like anything else some are super gritty some are gritty and some are loose. The thing with the Parkers is you got a real good chance of getting a dog with a lot of get out and a lot of bottom.

A couple of weeks ago I had the priveledge to hunt with some Parker dogs.. We were on some badd running hogs and I have to tell you that I was very impressed. One of the gyps not only stayed on one hog for 5 and half hours but she stopped it again and bayed it until the catch dog got there..I had never really thought about trying to get one before that day,,, but it didnt take me long to change my mind,, i am picking up a puppy this weekend.. Hope he turns out like what I seen..

A fella had a 3yr old (i think thats how old he is) around the East Texas area thats a LOOONG Range dog. I think he didnt have enough country to hunt him on. The dogs name is Shad, he is a cross out of Jr/Queen i believe. Last i heard he was sellin him. I know they dont go cheap especially at that age.

Here's Ranger, my Parker pup bred by "bayed up" here on the boards. He'll be 1 year old later this month.

Hard to keep still for a pic. Grin He started out a little rough, but after a few close encounters with some boar hogs, he's learning to back up and bay.

Let's just say, when you get one, the become something that will always be a part of your pack. I currently own 9. They are all hard hunting bred dogs with lots of drive. Most of them are gritty but with age they wise up. The best way to learn about them is to give Larry a call. If anyone knows about real hog dogs, it's him.
