My dog has some kind of skin thing going on. He has several small spots where there will be what looks like a flea bed or something. But no fleas. Next you can pull out the fur and what is left behind is like a puss spot. I hunt in orange groves where there is alot of ditches and stagnant water so I think it might be some kind of fungal infection but I am not sure. The spots are 1/2 inch to 1 inch in diameter. Anybody got any ideas?

Sounds like a staff infection. I had a puppy with it a few weeks back. Got some cephalexin from my vet and it cleared it right up.

sounds like a bacterial or staph infection. get him on antibiotics(chephalexen...like mike said) and you can use a antibacterial shampoo on him 2 x a week to help clear him up. Alot of dogs will get them from just being damp alot...like labs that swim everyday. good luck! hope this helps, Mrs.kbar
