Went out this morning with the wife and kids, and a buddy.  This place always has sign but the pigs have been getting smart to us running at night so we decided to run it before daybreak.  Good idea.  My lep dog jumped a pretty good pack and the rest of the dogs blew to him but the pigs already split up by the time they got to him.  I was about 250 to 300 yards from the four wheelers when two dogs caught a shoat and I got a phone call from Chancey, who was at the four wheeler, telling me Lep was on the tail of a biggin.  I got the two dogs off the shoat and started towards the wheelers to go to Lep when the dogs jumped this boar.  He had some tooth and he new how to use em.  He cut one dog, it wasnt too bad, and poked two more.  I got him tied and loaded on the four wheeler and headed towards Lep who was showing to be 1.52 miles out across two roads.   Got him called off and hit the same area we jumped em the first time.  Did some walk hunting in the brush.  No luck.  The family really enjoyed it.  I was glad to have them with me.
Myself, Blake, Ty on top and Robyn.

Chancey and Ty.

Ty, while Chancey and I were walk hunting.

Heading home.

Yea it was nice to have the family out with me.  We got shut down early cause of the weather.  I would like to have gotten back on em.  It always is nice to take more than one to the buyer.

Sucks to be you!   Grin  No, I would liked to have had Cash there to roll out with Lep on his mile and a half trip.  It may have made that check a little better.
