My brother in law bought an 8 in 1 shot for his bulldog pup and brought it to the office so I could give the shot to her. We figured out that she is still a week early for the shot, but I had already mixed it. I put it back in to the vial and in the fridge. My pup is ready for the shot and I was wondering If I could use that one. How long can it be mixed? Will it go bad? Or does it not matter? I might just go and buy another one to not take a chance on it but I would still like to know how long it takes to go bad after being mixed.

Thanks in advance.

I work for a vet and once the vaccine has been mixed it must be used within 30 minutes. I have heard of people using them after being mixed for longer periods of time, but considering the possible outcome and the fact that the vax aren't that expensive, you have to ask yourself if it is worth the risk.

Thank you! No, its not worth the risk! I was just curious about it because Ive never run into this scenario. I will buy a new one for my pup, and throw this one away. Thanks again!
