These were born Jan. 15th and out of Maddison X Buck.  Second litter I've raised out of one of my saddleback females bred to a yellow male and ended up with all yellow dogs.  (Not that that's a bad thing...just interesting to me).  I included a picture when they were younger.  One thing about the saddleback dogs is if they're not born completely coal black, they will all lighten and be light yellow.  A couple of the pups are still lightening up, and I can almost see a difference daily.

They have the breeding to be something special...only thing to do is hunt the heck out of 'em and give them a chance.

That's the only female out of the litter...pretty sure she won't be leaving!  She was born with the least amount of black and lightened out quicker.  Another couple weeks, and they'll all be as light as her.

My boys have been busy picking out names.  We have Dixie (Just cause they liked that name I suppose), Boulder (who is significantly larger than the rest), Tug (who always wins the tug-o-war with the rope) and Traveler (who always wonders off by himself when I let them out  Grin )
