Box looks good.  It looks pretty light weight.  How much you think it weighs?

Two things you might consider...one is DEFINATELY a way to fasten it down (speaking from experience) and the other thing is to put a bar across the back.  Dogs use their feet on mine to help balance and also if you want to sit a cooler or anything like that on top, it will keep it from sliding off the back.

thanks for your insight sir , iwould say it weighs about 100 lbs. i was trying to keep the weight off . i read on your post that you used all thread instead of ride locks .could you ellaberate on how you attached yours alittle more or maybe a pic . i can add the bar across the back and generally do put one on my boxes and racks but i was trying not to add more height and weight . thanks again,  Eric

I LIKE IT WITHOUT A BAR EASYER TO LOAD A DOG UP THERE. MINE WOULD HAVE A PAW AND NOSE PROOF CENTER PANEL. SOME TIME DOGS THAT GET LEFT BEHIND TEND TO GET PISSED OFF. VERY NICE LOOKS STRONG AND CLEAN.

The bar on the back is also good for gettin a dogs leg hung in when it's gettin off if you was to put something on the back I'd make it solid rather than with a gap

I have a winchester 7mm rifle with a very nice scope i would be willing to trade for the box if you would deliver it to me. It has a synthetic stock, and is perfectly sighted in. I even have a hard case and strap ill throw in. Your more than welcome to shoot a box of rounds threw it before you trade. Iam about forty miles south of Dallas. 469-297-0215

the only thing I would do would be to take a couple 3/4 pipe and weld washers to it so the fit snug in the holes on the ranger and then it is thier and dont have to keep it strapped down but will still be lifted off

Hey guys, i bought this box, and it is sweet! Light enough to load by myself, and the craftmanship is as good as i have ever seen. It is a perfect fit on my 2011 polaris Ranger. Thanks again Eric, we will do buisness again!
