Matt, Mike and I went to one of our city properties to get away from the deer hunters and make a day of it hog hunting. There were plenty of hogs around. The dogs got on six different chases with no success. Both we and the dogs were getting pretty frustrated. Then in the afternoon we were near a bayou when a group of hogs began crossing a few hundred yards down from us. They just kept coming out, we saw at least 10 or more. We made our way toward them with the dogs until we got to their track and smiley struck a sow fast and close. blue got in there, and the two of them caught and shut down a medium sized sow. I guess they decided they weren't letting this one get away no matter what. She was probably around 125lbs. A good fun day of hunting, and best of all; it never got warm Grin

Never realized how goofy I looked wearing those dirt bike gloves in the woods, looks like I am in an 80's music video or something hahaha.  Good time had again with my buds in the woods while Mandy was busy depleting our checking account with "all the sales"  :Smiley

Yeah Justin I really enjoy those leads.  My good buddy Chris Windham was nice enough to share them with me and I found a website called animatedknots.com that helped me refine my skills and then I shared that website with James and he took off from there.

Now I do have a rare and valuable hand sewn bulldog lead made of nylon strap and a choke collar that James made in his custom dog gear shop.  It should be worth a fortune one day hahahaha.

It was a good day in the woods... don't know what got into those hogs over there? Huh?

That's usually an easy spot to catch something, get on runners every now and then.

I'm glad we finally caught one... those dogs were wore out after 8 hours of running! Embarrassed
