How old is your daughter? I am wanting to get this pony for my niece and I want to make sure she is not too big for the pony.

My niece is 8 years old and this would be her first pony, she has ridden before but not a lot. I wanted her to get something she can handle to get her comfortable and learn and then get her something bigger when shes ready. Do you think she would work for her age?
