Yes he is doing work...he will find any hog within a 100 yards run one down in a field...last night he jumped out of the bed of the truck after some hogs on my buddies place and ran a 135 pound sow out of the field and bayed it up in some thick briars...I didn't have ny catch dig with me so I was trying to catch it myself and it kept breaking on me....about the 4th time tuff had had enough and went ahead and caught it on the ear..after a got it tied down I noticed he had pulled them all out...I wish I could figure out how to upload the videos I have if him

I have had that happen to catch dogs, and from what I understand the use thier back teeth to catch anyways because they kept catching after they lost them. It's already been said but no they arent gonna grow back but he should still work without them, givenhis mouth is gonna be sore for a Lil while

Is the dog exactly 5 m/o ? if a little younger or even not it very well coulda been his puppy teeth and not his perm ones....take a good pic of his mouth/teethe and post it....look real close and see if his grown teeth are comming in through the gums.

Thats about the age their new teeth start coming out, maybe his puppy teeth were the ones that got ripped out.

The fact that all the teeth came out at once and the 5 month age indicate that those may well have been puppy teeth and they were getting loose. If they were, you should be able to see beginnings of the replacement (adult) teeth. I hope that is the case.

i agree, most puppys loose their puppy teeth between 2-5 months and start getting their adult teeth around 5-6 months .....if both of them came out at the same time im sure it was his puppy teeth and they were prob. already loose before he grabed the hog. If it was his puppy teeth the adult k9s will come in within the next month. I wouldnt work him to hard once they do come in...or at least dont let him get too ruff with the hogs till he gets a little older and the adult teeth have time to set in. Good luck, Mrs. Kbar

x3 Have a bmc male about the same age, he lost one playin with another pup. If they came out pretty easy I'd say they were baby teeth and his adults will come in.
