which breed do you prefer a jagd terrier or a patterdale terrier and why? just curious between these two breeds thanks, jeremy

man she is an all around lil dog one minute she may be chasen rat and the next on a hog, not a whole lot of bay in her but loves some boar nutts shes crazy to watch

For hogs I assume .....I been raising Patterdales for along time and fooled with a few jadgs IMO the Jadg is better suited for hogs in general.

never hunted with a jag ,an just getting my 8 month old pup strictly on hogs, she hates them an is about 3 barks than catch , i have her mom an she will hunt anything they r real gritty lil dogs

My buddy has a patterdale terrier pup! She is a hard huntin little dog and kinda rough. She is the little black dog Blake, what is that dog all the way to the left with the cut collar on??? I got one that looks just like him, just not quite as many scars...LOL!!

That is my dog Zig! He is a 4 yo Plott/Cur cross and is my best dog. I wish he wasnt as rough as he is but we catch alot of hogs behind him. I got two gyps about to pop with some of his pups now! I wanted to get some pups off him before he gets killed.

only time i like jagds is when hogs run....the hogs seem to b a little less nervous when the dog only weighs 10 lbs but they sure are gritty little dogs...my own pwesonal opinion is...it dont take a certain breed of dogs to hunt hogs you could use a weenie dog if he done what you wanted its all about the way YOU like to hunt...feed bill aint as hi as bigger dogs either

i have a patterdale and she is some kinda ruff on anything and smart..she just had her first litter of pups..maybe they be the same..where did u find the cut vest and collar at..
