Bengi and i loaded up for a place out in Olney, TX that i got called about that needed some hogs removed.  I planned on paying for my trip with the hogs i caught.  Let me tell you, these dang hogs know where to get and in a real quick hurry.  Well, we got there Friday night and got the dogs and equipment unloaded and got some sleep (went to bed at 3am)  Woke up at 6am to get dogs ready.  We cut the dogs lose and raod around this place all morning.  Didn't even see much sign.  by lunch i was about to give up and go home till we where headed in for lunch and pigs where dropping in the wheat fields in the middle of the day.  80 degrees outside.  I couldn't believe it.  We caught one sow about 125 and the dogs rolled out to 1.25 on the garmin.  Bay a good boar, then we got there and the boar came running by, cut the CD lose to catch him and heard the dogs still baying so we went to the bay and it was a 70 pd boar.  Caught him and the dogs after a hell of a hike.  Coudln't find the catch dog, so went searcg for him on the garmin.  He was showing bayed.  Went to him and he had a 50 pound boar caught, i guess he lost the bigger boar.  We where showing 1.3 on the garmin from where we left the rhino.  Hike up and down hills with 4 dogs, and a 70 pound boar on Bengi's back.  Man, was i tired.  We got loaded up and looked across the way and there was a group of 20 big hogs heading to a watering hole, man at this point i can't feel my legs and my smoking habit is about to kill me over not only that but the dogs where beat.  We worked down to them and let the dogs go where i had seen them last.   All the sudden superman opens and running fast back towards me.  like 5 25 pounders coming running by with superman hot on them, those little be suckers ran my group of dogs in the opisit direction of the big group.  right ar a mile later and running all that way i find my 4 curr dogs laying in a tank about to give up.  It was too hot for this crap and these guys that invited me told me the place hasn't been dogged.  Well, if they havent been they sure as hell no how to get away.  ALL in all we ended up with 6 hogs, 5 alive and 1 dog put to much on him.  It's was still a good hunt and I'll be going back for sure but i have a little better game plan for West, TX next time.  Here are a few pictures from last weekend.

Not really sure, I've got several like that past down from old hands.  Wildcat has several too.  He might know, where he got his.

Actually ive haven't seen to many run on my dogs but maybe i'm used to east texas.  That place was bad, as soon as the dogs barked they high tailed it.

My own blood line mostly.  Cur/Cat down the road somewhere they had some plot and pit.  Just an old Oklahoma blood line.  I have one full blood blue lasy too though.  Ive got 2 BMC locked up right now so i should have a hell of a litter soon.

Any of you Olney guys know Lonnie Wales? He's been running dogs around there since the 80s...got an American Bulldog(tank) that is one of the best dogs I have ever seen in the woods!!! Or if you closer to my age 23 you may know his sons and daughters jodee, cacee, and randee?
