Cows chasin Hogs off?

Alright yall I have a question. I just got another trapping property lined up. Went out there with the owner, checked it out and there are or WERE tons of Hogs on his property. He had 2 cameras set up and they were comin nightly to the same spot. I went ahead and set up my box trap and my corral trap and started to bait them. The first 2 days they were all over it, going in the trap eating etc. Well on the 3rd day the guy let his cows into that pasture without telling me. Of course the cows pushed all on my corral trap and are just all over the traps for the bait. He's supposed to be mending his fence to be putting them in the other pasture but it hasn't happened yet. With my camera and their 2 set up all I'm catchin is the cows now, like they are standing guard over the traps. The first 2 days after the cows were in there the hogs were still coming around but staying back, now they are gone.

The cows have calves out there with them too, do yall think its a possibility those cows have been chasing off the hogs or they have just moved off? I've never trapped with cows around before so I have no clue. Also anyone have any ideas about what I can do? Thanks.

take fishing line and run it around the area about chest high.will also keep the deer out as well,just put up a parimeter of stakes and go around them.atleast 30ft away from the trapss.

Butt your traps up against the fence facing outward. That should fix your cows eating the bait problem. The hogs will squeeze under the barbed wire from the outside of the pasture. If you can find a good hog trail comming into the pasture place it right in the middle. This is the only way I put mine out in a cow pasture, keeps deer and calves out. Good luck bro

About 3 years ago the guy I hunt with got stomped dang near to death by a tiger stripe brama cow. They came from 1/4 mile away and did not have any calves. We had to life flight him out and he spent nearly a week in ICU.
