Me and my brother had started to collect baseball cards when we were 10 and stopped by when we was about 20,, plan to give them to our kids when they get older,  When you get a chance get you a Beckett baseball card magazine and it will tell you what each card is worth depending on what condition they are in... The rookie cards seem to be the most expensive.. Good luck

I have about every card from 1985-1990 in near pristine condition. A few years ago I was in a money bind and dug them out of the attic to try and sell them. I got the latest Beckett, looked up some prices of some good cards and was stoked. However, getting someone to pay me those prices or anything remotely close to them was a whole other issue. Needless to say I still have nearly every card from 1985-1990 in near pristine condition sitting in my attic. I think if you could wait it out and find the right buyer, it could be good. But joe schmo at the local card shop ain't gonna give you jack from what I have found.

put em on ebay...i have sold a few on their and done alright...didnt get what beckett priced em at, but got alot closer than what a card shop would offer. if your selling to a card shop remember this: they are in buisness to make money, they entend to make a minimum of 75% profit, therefore if the beckett retail list your card at $100 value, dont be surprised when they offer you $25 or less. on ebay you stand a chance of selling to another collector and they pay way more if you have what they want.

I had over 100,000 cards. Thats what I did growing up collecting cards and all. Most now are worthless. Just a hand full are worth some duckets. It depends on what you wanna do with them. If your going to keep them you need to preserve them. The old plastics in a binder was the old way,but what they found out doing so. The chemicals in the plastic ate the cards up. Once you find out which ones are common cards (Cards worth nothing to a few dollers). They have speical card board box's for them. The others that have some value to them. They have speical holders fo them now that shouldn't eat them up. You can sell them, but expect about 20% of face value...

Honestly right now there really is not a market because of economy I learned that the other day I am a card and coin collector and they aren't buying how ever EBay is poping with buyers and also you might see some of your cards on there

That's all I remembered was that there is alot not worth nothing and a few worth alot I'm not sure on the value of a-joke also known as Alex Rodriguez or like 1984 but I'm sure certain years are more desirable
