Bryant,

Hey brother figured you would show up on here eventually. You never told me you had some sure nough long distance Yellers you were hiding over there. They look good lot of leg and a big chuckle head to go with em. The buck dog reminds me alot of my old dog Trooper's litter mate with his conformation. Mike gave me the run down on those pups he has out of your old dog. Quite a nice pack I will have to say. Thanks for playin and sharing.

Texas

Are all three dogs still on your place, or are these spread out through several years. They look like they can bring home the bacon for sure. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope you get some pups out of em to make your next generation just as good.

Cj and War dog are back with my best friend were they came from but I have young dogs off both of them that are really making some dogs more breeding in the future for them.  Ole Blu will never leave here she has some offspring that are making some great dogs oldest two years old and one nearly my lead dog now and a younger sister that may out do her before its all said and done.  Old Blu has a half sister my Lil Ann dog which was my main dog for a long long time great great dog she now has some offspring that are making a lot of noise one of them my Horn dog that is pushing ole Blus daughter for the next lead dog  his daddy was a full blooded plott dog .  Got young dogs off all these old great gyps and are the real deal .  It takes forever to breed a line of dogs .  I have always been a great believer in breeding great gyps , you can find a stud anywere. jmo  Some background on these two old gyps Ole blue and Lil Ann came from Cole McVeays old Joe line of dogs both gyps are off of Joe matter of fact .  Cole's brother and I are long long time friends going years back Shane McVeay.  The C.O. dog is Lil Ann's Liter brother I think Cole bred those dogs somebody around Buffalo owned him and he got killed her a year are so ago.  Many of  you know Justin Bounds he hunted ole Blu for a while till Shane got her back and I traded for her.  Anyway Am sure yall know these guys.  Ive had these dogs now for about six seven years.  I also have a liter brother to Cole's Lanky dog that is my main stud dog .

Horn off my old Plott male x Lil Ann,  Will be finished this year, he has all ranges goes were the hogs are short med long dont matter.  Hog Crazy .

Horn's momma Lil Ann a great ole gyp.  She is retired because she was crippled by a bad boar here two years ago.

This is a gyp is a grandaughter of ole blu . Her daddy was Lil Ann's liter brother C.O. her mother was a daugter of ole Blu.  Great breeding in this gyp and she is gonna be a handfull before its all said and done. All these dogs are family bred type of dogs.

This is my best of the best strike dogs Jill, Bayed and treed a many of bear and hog. She was just a pleasure to hunt, paid $10.00 for her at a dog trade. A feller i knew was carrying her around in his hand, walked up to me, and says i got you a good bear dog pup, I say how much, just for conversation.. he says $40.00, I didnt want her at all, but i thought i would be funny and offered him $10.00, and he said give me your money, so I had to buy her. Grin
Dad took up with her and kept her for a yard dog, till she got to chasing step moms cats, up a tree, trying to kill them Grin  I ended up getting her back and started hunting her. She ran track and treed first time i turned her loose, and never looked back.  R.I.P Jill

Left to right,  Jill,  her grandson, (Slim)  her daughter, (little-bit),  and a plott (Molly) That was in Tx last I heard.

One of the many hogs we caught together.

Yellowblackmask,

Not too long ago you posted a picture of my nephew in one of your posts, now you have someone else I recognize in that last picture. Small world Grin .  Of course, it looks like an old picture, do you still hunt with Chris E.? Just wondering if he is still chasing pigs. He used to hunt quite a bit when I was in East Texas.

Tom,

How long ago were those Bear pics taken. Our bunch has been threatning to go run some Bear or Cats with a few dogs one of these days. Looks like it would be right up our alley, along with catfish noodling and cricket spitting. LOL  Jees how redneck are we???  Great pics thanks for sharing along with them packs of hounds.

Those are some old pics i dug up, had a couple people wanting to see pics of my old jill female. She might not have been the prettiest dog, but she made up for that with hunt.
Runnin bear is fun if you got some private land. I havent been cat hunting yet but been wanting to for a long time.

I dont know all about that noodlin, yall are braver than me Grin

Thanks, that was one of my better packs. I aint in to bear huntin near as much as i was, I was born a hog dog, not a bear dog, or maybe i just had some good training, IDK,  Cheesy Cool  So I pretty much sold out and am starting from scratch.  "Cur dogs" Grin   So maybe i will have a new best strike (cur) dog in a couple yrs.

This is my best dog so far in my 10 years of hog hunting. I bought her off of Glen Hesseltine. She stuck alot of hogs for us in the 2 1-2
years I have had her. She has absolutely no quit in her. You better be ready to hunt when you let her out.

Reuben, she is a full blood plott. I don't know any background info on her though.  I am waiting on her to come into heat and I am going to breed her to a Parker dog that is supposed to be just like her.
