Not this time though!  Well, its not that good but stick-n-move managed to get a 25 second clip with my little camera from the other side of the pond that didnt turn out too bad. I went with Nick (shsu11) and Bryan (stick-n-move) on a hunt last week. We had some dang fine young dogs from Tshelly and BigE along with us also. Mater of fact, yall are lucky to get young Goose and Briar back fellas!  It was already hot and dry, dry, dry at dawn but we must have turned the dogs out right on a track. I could tell the dogs could smell a hog as soon as they hit the ground. It took em about 15 minutes but they bayed about 800 yards away. According to the Garmin, the hog broke and ran straight back at us several hundred yards and then made a hard left and bayed for a while at a nearby pond. Before we could get to them, he swam the pond but he wasnt going anywhere after that. I tried to take a short cut to the other side and half drowned myself only to get back out on the same side of the pond that I started on.  Nick and Cooper got to the other side and made the catch with his little "Dogo want to be" Kilo and did a fine job of getting him legged and throwed! We got to watch the whole show from the other side of the pond! Sure is nice hunting with you young fellas! He was a dang fine barr and had the kind of cutters that really bother me when a bunch of young dogs are on the ground like we had. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e4EcQG--58   |

I heard geraldo Rivera is lookin for a camera man Unless Geraldo is taking up hog hunting full time or doing a documentary on professional cheerleaders, I don't think Bryan will be interested. |

That's certainly better than any Discovery Channel footage  Nick must have know you were filming, I've never seen him move that fast to catch a hog hehe Just glad to see you finally got to make a hunt, we need to keep them rolling and get yours legged up. It was a fun hunt altogether. I had a blast before going back to africa. It is always a good day when you put pork on the ground. Just wish there would have been more cought.

I agree! That mud is ok until its 2 foot deep with 4 foot of water on top. Makes it a little tricky for short, fat fellas to keep their heads above water. Nice video Allen! We found a 4 finger plus track out there also! Made me have second thoughts about my fat dogs around 10 o'clock that morning. They will be back in hunting shape in a few weeks. |

Cracker, I have adopted the philosophy that I am gonna walk fast, but I am not gonna run like I did when I was younger.....and if my dogs can't hold them til I get there, then I tip my hat to the hog and look for better dogs....LOL!!! |
