I don't have TV but I saw the first episode at my in-laws Sunday, they had recorded it for me. It made me laugh, I'll say that! I would say that it is close to 100% staged and already caught hogs. All the ones that looked free range got away.

Guys I can't help it anylonger but how old are yall?  Yall act like a bunch of grade school kids making fun of others.  Karma has a way of jumping up and biting u in the rear and think some of u are on the list.  U don't have to like it but to see the way some on here jab shots is discusting.  I try my best not to read these posts but can't help it sometimes and it makes me sick.  Yes the show makes me laugh when I go somewhere to watch its entertaining exactly what it is intended for.  I know the world is not perfect but don't understand why people have to make fun of others just to make them selves feel better.

Well I got to say I do get paid to hog hunt, you just have to provide a needed service to people who need it. I also do predator and nuisance animal control, I do this everyday not just when I get a chance to enjoy the outdoors. I watch the show for entertainment just what it is for, we all hunt different. I'm in the process right now of working on a tv show, won't be anything like L3's style but again everyone has their own style. I trap, snare, and run dogs I doubt very seriously you will see any of my snaring on tv unless they are in a snare alive, PC TV. What I'm getting at is there are ways of getting paid for hunting hogs you just have to want it and go for it and Hogz Gone Wild is a show on the idiot box for entertainment and from what I've seen here it did it's job.....has a lot of people talking, doesn't it.

I personally think, to each is his own.  I cut hair for a living and by no means can I tell  the guys on tv how to do their job but, I do think that there is alot of room for improvement.  I am like many on all the likes and dislikes...yes, they are the ones getting paid for the show and must be how the producers want it...and it is getting reviews and talked about.  To me its like a bad soap opera, could be a true situation but, we all know thats its dramatized.

As far as pointing out "bashing" of the tv guys...its a public show, just as this forum.  If you dont like watchin...its a simple fix, dont watch it.  But to the same, if you dont like reading everyones reviews and opinions...again a simple fix, dont read it!

I appreciate this forum for the ability to seek information and others input.  We all have different views and hunting tactics...thats what its all about....talking, teaching, learning and mostly exspressing ourselves where others understand our ways.

Completely agree!

People also never know, as popular as this hog huntin stuff is becoming they may be the next one on TV with everyone talking $hit about them and their dogs.

I'm out of Rosenberg, Tx. I'm looking for a place to run my dogs. The place I'm on now is running low on hogs and starting to run high in new homes, if anyone knows of a place I can run my dogs in Fort Bend,Wharton,Brazoria counties contact me, my info is attached, thanks....

Ok guys..Is there anyone in the Fort Bend area that I can run my dogs with...

You really get paid to hog hunt??? Im not just talkin about sellin hogs, Im talkin about makin a living at it the way L3 does. Seems to me it would be hard to make a living huntin hogs when you aint got any places to hunt them... granted that was last year, some things may have changed, just curious.

Man how long will this go on? If you dont like the way josh and the others hunt dont watch it... Yes we already know you all have caught way more hogs and much bigger ones that l3 has. So leave it at that. But you do have to give riddick credit on last seasons show the way he controlled that huge boar was amazing, i have seen smaller ones get away from know it alls when they have two or even three other catch dogs. I have seen the way josh works with his dogs and they may have troulble finding hogs sometimes but when they do get ahold the hog doesnt get away often pretty much never. He just knows how to train em. Seen it first hand. Out in the field. And many of you would be happy to have josh and matt out in the field when your dog gets cut they have the know how on how to save a dogs life they did mine. Just one more way to show josh knows what he is doing. If yall all were so good yal would have been asked to do that show.... wait wait we all know you haters will say "they asked me i said no i new what it would be like"  ill save you more embarresment JUST STOP WATCHING. ALL YALLS NEGITIVITY IS MAKING THIS FORUM (WHICH MANY OF US LIKE TO ENJOY) TURN INTO A BASHING FORUM. HIS STYLE IS DIFFERENT, LEAVE IT AT THAT. ISNT THIS SITE FOR ALL THE HOG HUNTERS? NOT JUST FOR A CERTAIN WAY?

Some of you boys are taking things a little too personal. Most of these people don't even know who Josh is except from the show.

This is a reality TV show with hog hunters in the spotlight. This is a hog hunting forum where people are passionate about hunting with dogs. Search every other hunting forum on the internet and you'll find the same comments.

People are commenting on a TV show... sorry if that offends you.

While I find the show entertaining and funny... it's an embarrassment from a hog hunting with dogs stand point. This is now how the world perceives us. We get calls all the time from producers wanting to make new shows... everyone is a little gun shy now.
