I think the show is a big joke.
I can damn well promiss If I were in their position I would have a REAL team of dogs and several of my buddies that would make the show worth watching.
The only reason I and most of you watch it is that you want to poke fun at them the next few days on this forum.

I don't know Josh or Chrystal they may really have good intentions.
I think their show is a big JOKE.

And I honestly don't care what anyone thinks about my oppinion!

If Tyler Magnus with the ROPING SHOW could not rope and did'nt know what he was doing,You think all the cowboys would'nt rip him.
When you put you a_ _ on the line on National TV you better be able to perform or this is what will happen.

Well coyote hunter how would you like it if someone made fun  of you? Take for instance your forum name, coyote hunter, you are probably better at coyote hunting than hog hunting you should just stick to that. And you k.. kennels why would you put a picture like that on your profile? Nobody cares what you look like. I bet you intimidate the hogs more that your dogs.      I haven't seen Coyote Hunter or Kesseling put their face out on  NATIONAL TELEVISION as a representative of hog dogging. L3 has done it once in the newspaper, and now on television, and both times he has come off as a complete D-Bag.  Some of us have been in national news articles and didn't receive the backlash from our peers that L3 has, and that's primarily because we did what we could to represent what we do with realistic expectations. We didn't get all gussied up and go spotlighting hogs, we took the reporter through neck high poison ivy, knee high water and swamps, and we hunted day and night for three days. We rigged, cast, track hunted, and we damn sure didn't end the night looking like we were ready for a night on the town. We weren't hunting a 7 acre woods pen, with kennels in the background, and we were not throwing other dog hunters under the bus like L3 has done in the past.  

 If L3 would just be honest and say, look my dogs don't really have a good tracking ability, but they have plenty of leg and size to hold big hogs, or be honest and say they are primarily sight hunters, I don't think he would get the backlash.... instead he comes out and claims they are the best at blah blah blah.... I can't count the times he has spewed some crazy BS on this very forum.   Hell, just two years ago he was claiming that his great dane was faster than any greyhound    I am talking about wild claims, that people who know better have trouble stomaching.

And by the way my daughter was tired of seeing that hog on my profile and added that pic,That pic was taken over 10 yrs ago.

Thats why I dont use catch dogs because IM SO BIG THE HOGS HEAR ME COMING AND ROLL OVER AND TIE THEMSELVES

Really the only reason we are ripping them is I and alot of other hunters on here know that L3 Is not representing what we know as Dogging.
I would rather see them turn their strike dogs out let them hunt,actually bay a hog and go in and catch the hog and either tie or stick the hog.
This is how most of us hunt and the way we know the sport.

If for example Me and my buddies ever were filmed the only things you would edit is the beer drinking and the language,other than those couple of things 90% of everyone on this board would relate to our hunting style.
Maybe we have a bad hunt and no pigs.
You can bet your a_ _ it wont be bacause the dogs were not hunting out more than 25 yards.

Bottom line L3 is not representing our sport!!!!
I will stand up for what I believe in and that it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate this show.   If I was from Texas I would be upset that the Texas team looks so pathetic  I know their is a million people that could rep texas and put on a better show with more excitment and give people a little better idea of how it's done    I can't stand when people
constantly talk about how great their dog is   Somebody loan them
some strike dogs and talk them into sending riddick to them  or hell somebody loan em a bulldog and talk em into leaving him at the house.   But hell I'm talkn $hit and their ain't even Have a Oklahoma team.      But hell I guess they ain't tryn to put on a good display of hog doggin they are just tryn to entertain  if we didn't hog hunt we wouldn't know any different and would probly like the show.     And coyote hunter stick to grey hound and coyotes lol.  How is that yella pup you got from Justin doin

@ Tcolt - I shouldn't have to justify my position but here you go; I don't make a living at hog hunting as of now but I'm working on it because that is my passion, I work an 8 hour day as an Electrical Engineer for a global engineering firm, I hold 2 patents and I own Critter Catcher Wildlife Control. You see colt when you are driven in life you don't wait for things to come to you, you go after them. I do make extra income at trapping, snaring, & running dogs for hogs  but I also handle several other animals and reptiles. I work my 8 hr job then I work 5 to whatever hrs. as wildlife control, so Tcolt life is all about what you make it, if all you do is bitch and complain then you achieve nothing. I work with my county commissioner, aglife department, sheriffs department, Texas A&M, Park and Wildlife, and private land owners. I attend county meeting to discuss the feral hog problems in my county, I get my name in the right circles, that's why I'm on this forum my passion for the sport and my dedication to feral hog control. The biggest problem I see with private land holders is they let some good ol' boy run dogs then he invites a bunch of beer drinking redneck buddys that trash a place then the land owner doesn't want anybody on it, this is a problem that effects everyone that hunts for hogs. I've been doing this a long time and seen a lot of people get out and come in and it will always be that way. I do know this, only jealous and insecure people have to bad mouth others to feel better about themselves and their lack of drive.

As for looking for a place to run my dogs, you will probably see that post again sometime but not anytime soon because I've signed 2 contracts with 2 developers on large tracts of land, yes for money that means I'm getting paid for hunting feral hogs. I posted for a place so I could keep my dogs in shape and keep their noses hot that doesn't mean I didn't have places to hunt just not any big enough to run my pack.
