I have been asking around to try and find the best cut gear out there. I need something better than the occasional firehose collars i have made. I wanted to know who everyone else uses. Im looking for an old fashioned solid cut collar that isnt loose and flimsy. I want the rigid ones and i cant seem to find any good ones. If you could please give me some info i would appreciate it?

Try Valley Creek Hunting Supply! I have four of there cut collars and a Catch vest from them and all have held up very well. I couldnt find the website but they have a ebay store. Their prices are very reasonable too!

I run perty rough dogs and stopped runnin' cut gear on 'em a few yrs ago... I feel they can move much better and after gettin' hit good a few(hundred ) times learn to handle themselves better around a bad one...

I've been amazed with some of the tuskers my bulldog has caught and when i went to check him over he aint touched... i wont buy anything else now.... p.s. i am ashamed to admit it but i turned my dogs loose in an area where i've had a big boar beat me several times... anyway they bayed up and i couldnt here a pig squealing so i figured they had gotten that big boar bayed up... i get about 50 yards and let ole vaya go and he runs in there and i here a hell of a fight, problem is it isn't squealing... my dogs haven't trashed in the longest time so the last time i expect to see is vaya and a big ole coon goin at it.... funniest thing(and believe me i wan't laughing at all at the time) was that bulldog would throw his body into that coon using his vest to help him and then he'd latch onto thats coons head... so long story short there also coon proof mike

I have the ugly dog 4 I'n collar and really like it, but got some different ones the other day that are stiffer I like them too. I can't decide if I like them more or not. But I have two ugly dog vest a razor back and a p and p I like the p and p it's dang near bullet proof, but it seems a little rigid, where the ugly dog has more flex

I have several different brands and have narrowed it down to show-n-go, hardcore cut gear, ugly dog and p and p. Money wise can't beat showngo and so far I really like his on gritty dogs don't have his catch vest though.

I use hard core cut gear, collars and vests and love them. The collars are nowhere near flimsy!
