MY best gyp is close to cycle but not in. Tongue tryed to hunt her last two trips she wont hunt Angry  do yall think that why  :'( she will usely hunt out stay with a hog but latey she quits :'([ Shocked

LOL!  I was wonderin how long it would take for you to jump on that one.  Grin

In my defense, i didnt mean it in a bad way, but the truth is the truth.  It messes with their hormones, and effects some worse than others.

Some probly wont bother at all, but some do crazy things.  Just depends on the individual female. 

I have seen more than one that wouldnt hunt when they are commin in heat.

swine hunter my gyp went into heat and i noticed she was not hunting with the other femal she usually cast with but soon as she came out bam they were sticking back together and baying them up. and the funny thing is we didnt even have any males around at that time? so i guess its the hormones??? keep on keeping on its gonna get back to normal soon enough

I have a bmc gyp that gets hormone issues. I go to the vet and get pills for a month and all is good. When she is on I like her hunting style. I notice her hunting a little off for more than a week we go to the vet and it turns out to be hormones.
