I jokingly told a couple guys that hunt with me that since deer season was over last weekend (except for youth season next weekend) that this morning was OPENING MORNING FOR HOG DOGGING!

We turned out before daylight on a place we haven't been on since October, and really don't hunt very often anyway.  There was almost zero recent sign of the hogs, the weather wasn't cooperative with 30+ mph winds, and the dogs really weren't hunting to my satisfaction.  With all that said, we finally were able to scratch out a nice boar to end the morning.

Apparently I have a cur that's decided he's part catchdog and once again was caught when we arrived at the bay.
I'm kinda glad this boars cutters were broke off...from watching this clip a few times, this could have been a wreck!

I may have to start scaling back on all the video I've been getting..the guys are starting to give me a pretty hard time about staying dry and not getting muddy from head to toe!  I thought I had them convinced that this video camera's really hard to operate and I just don't have the time to school anyone else on how to use it.  I don't think they're buying it... Wink

nice one!  yeah, it looked like your cur dog didn't want to wait for Zeus to get there. Love how he started shaking as soon as he got there, such a punishing/dominating dog.

Cool video or sure.  Got the catch and everything.  As mentioned earlier, getting good video is not easy.  I've videoed a whole hunt and had nothing but crap to show for it.

Good Job for sure!  I think a camera will be my next investment.  I need another excuse besides the one that I am already using!  Wink
