Its truly sad when some of the best hog hunters I know are from Texas and we are so poorly represented by L3 Outdoors, these people are actually comical. The guys from Florida and Hawaii actually have some dogs that seem to know what they are doing and both say on camera they are new to dog hunting so I will cut them some slack. The one out dog hunting that Josh does puts the dog in more danger in my opinion, the brown dog he had on the show last night actually was getting after the hog. What will take down a hog easier, one rough dog or 3 or 4 rough dogs?We all know the answer to that question.Where did they find this dude?He is truly an embarrassment to our sport.

I have to give them credit.  Grin
I saw about 3 - 5 seconds from the Stag looking dogs camera collar when he finally saw a hog.
That was the only few seconds I wasn't rolling my eyes and laughing at the hosts.

I agree with yall. Yea they caught some nice ones last night. The only thing I wonder about is why do the Florida guys lead their dogs every where? The only thing we lead around is the catch dog. If I have a bay dog by me at anytime in the hunt I get purty upset. I havent figured that one out yet. They did catch a nice one though.  Wish I could hunt 5-6 nights a week like those guys.

This show pisses ne off so bad but I can't stop watching it just to see what kinda dumba** crap L3 outdoors is gonna say. It takes years to get their dogs at the level their at, but I think their dogs need about 10 more years and maybe just maybe he wont have to follow the dog to make sure he ain't doing anything he's not supposed to be doing.

It's real easy to stop watching the show... I did, cold turkey. No patches, no gum, no treatment centers. I just quit tuning in.   Grin

That l3 bunch is something else. I'm just getting into hog hunting with dogs and it drives me crazy to watch them. Ive got a few dogs I'm working with and they need alot of woods time with proven dogs before I try to turn'em out on there own and to be honest I don't see much difference between mine and l3's dogs and he says they've taken years to get to that level. And another thing, I know alot of guys that have never hunted in there lives that are calling me trying to find a great Dane do they can go do some hog hunting just because the saw a scripted fake hunt, man it drives me crazy! And have what's up with his new "boarhound" breed he's coming up with, I don't see alot of hound in any great Dane I've ever been around and I sure haven't seen anykind of nose on any of there dogs much less the Danes. Anyways sorry no commitment Ive tried to stay out of the mess but I had to vent, it's a reality tv show, and if you put yourself out there you gotta be able to take the criticism that goes with the fame.

I've known the young man along time.
I'm sure he will have something nice in return  Grin

Putting an L3 decal on my glass would be like putting a rainbow sticker on it.

I have to wonder what L3s friends and the hunters that live in his area think about him now,I know if he lived in southeast  Texas the guy wouldnt be able to step foot in the woods without some ole boys giving him the blues.I hope he is getting really rich while making all of us look like idiots,he needs to call those Florida or Hawaiin boys for some pointers on dog training.

I understand the show needs certain footage....but .... Undecided

Im trying to figure out what a "Ute" is .... Huh?

The Texas group has a shock collar on the flank of that red dog...that is having hell holding a 125 lb hog. They are obviously hunting in a pen...not "pin" and several of those shots were from a pen in columbus many of us seen. Not to mention...they are running behind the dog....wtf  Huh?

The florida guys are different....most if not all of their shots seem to be staged as well....and barrs they are catching.

The Hawaii guys are interesting but not too sure bout those dogs. It was obvious the hog on the golf course was staged and tied...in fact your could see the rope when they showed the catch dogs catch. Then to send the dogs in without vests on that toothy hog.

However...it is hunting and many people dont know the difference. I like to watch cause its a good laugh and I''ll admit...I want to see how ignorant they can look the next time...so far...I havent been let down  Grin
