The pups in this pic are from Red(my rednose) and Hank(my blue lacy). What i find interesting is that they had never seen a hog before this day, they are about 6 weeks old here. But mama and daddys blood must be flowin good. We got back after a long, hot, and hard mornin hunt. After we caught our first and only hog that day we called it quits. I got home with hog in trailer and got all the dogs situated, and let my pups out to run the yard awhile. I went in the house to eat and rest, when i heard puppys barkin, much to my suprise when i went to look they were all at the back of the trailer bayin that hog inside the trailer. They had never seen it done or seen a hog before this. THATS WHAT I CALL INSTICT AND FUTURE STARS!!!! i figured you guys might enjoy this.

This is my Lacy X Pit. I sure wish that she would bark. She hunts her tail end off and she can go all day but she is all catch and with her range, that's dangerous so I have to run her on lead as a catch dog. Her pups are showing some pretty serious promise though.

monteria, great lookin dog, wish mine had been blue... but i know what you mean i have to run a tracker on her most the time, her bark isnt loud enough to hear when shes way out and if the other dogs dont bark i gotta track to em or listen for a squeal.

Thanks, Yall. I think that shes pretty good lookin myself.

If its a pig, she is catching it. Shes the half breed that caught this one..... http://www.easttexashogdoggers.com/forum/index.php?topic=3265.0

She will range several hundred yards so tracking collar or not, I cant let her run on her own. Id just be asking for trouble.

Ask and you shall receive........ This is one of Ollie's pups (1/4 pit X 3/4 Lacy)at 5 months old or so. This is the first pig he ever saw.

This is him last weekend at maybe 7 months old. This was his first pig in the woods and he just wouldn't quit. He's the red dog on the ear.

He didn't mind getting walloped either.

Julie (Truebluelacy) took the pics.

Ollie was a total accident but when I saw the way she hunted, I just had to go for the F2 cross. Ill let you know how they turn out but all indications are good so far.

I just looked. I think that Id keep her and breed her back to her daddy if she is doing that well. Why do you want to sell her?

The only and i mean only reason is that im out of room and need a bulldog, and have aquired a couple more curs and shes the youngest i have now, so the transition for her would be easier

Those 3/4 Lacy 1/4 Pits are awesome. Probably still too gritty for my taste, a straight bay dog that backs down in just fine by me, but that grit is exactly what Monteria wanted.

I can't resist posting the ones that feature Sadie, my blue Lacy. She hates puppies, but she hates pigs more, and she did a good job showing them the ropes.

TrueBlue- Your pictures are truly some of the best I have ever seen, you would think you trained one of those blue dogs to carry a camera  Grin  If you don't mind I am going to save some of them.  I have a cousin that does some amazing pencil drawings and I may get him to turn one of these into a large drawing that I can frame.
