He lost a tooth a few weeks back an th hog in this vvideo is th first one he has been on since then. I don't know. Looks Like he just hit to hard to me. Videos a lil blurred on my phone. I got one that is missing two canines. Catches just fine for me. If u don't wanna retire him then get another cd an let him in behind it. Take some of the pressure off the old man.

Let him go till he can't go anymore. Just like us we would want the same. I hate to see a dog wither up on a chain or kennel. You will know when its time.

My best dog is a 10 years old and on his own he'll still catch a hog. He don't listen like he used to but I figure if he made it that far let him go till he's gone. And out oldest arch dog is 8 and he's missin half his teeth and hes still hell on wheels

so all you guys are saying you want to die on your job and miss out on a comforatable retirement . these dogs work for us and retirement doesn't meen being left in a kennel and forgotten about . there are plenty of things to do with a dog than hunt it . if they live long enough to get that old out of respect for a warrior they should be able to retire and live the good life . going on long walks and meeting a few ladies . and just enjoying life for a change . 7 or 8 years of catching is a long long time . and me personally if i was fond of the dog i would retire it and just take it out every now and then and maybe let it catch some of the esier hogs and just use as a backup .
