Got a Dog this weekend Got Cut just above her vaginal area. It was a deep cut but was not bleeding or anything. I cleaned it out realy good and put a few stapels in it. Went out yesterday and flushed it out and when i did i noticed some of it was coming back out of vaginal area. So im guessing the uniary tract is cut. Is this something that can heal on its on or is this something a vet needs to take care of? She seems to be going to the bathroom ok. Thanks for the Help.

if mine was cut and i thought her reproductive organs were damaged id take her to the vet. Dont know if its something id want to try and fix on my own. But without seeing it theres no telling.

What I do is mix blood stop powder and anti cream together to make a pasta so thick its all most dough jam a ball of it in the cut in stable its all up but leave a
3inch by1/4 clear rubber hose at the top of cut stitch the hose in place. Then ever other day clean it in give meds

Had it happen a few years ago. Take her to the vet. Infection would be bad in that area. If the cut made into the wall of the vagina it isnt something you want to chance. I wouldnt staple anything up. You need to keep it clean as possible.

Put a exam glove on, irrigate wound, while irrigating, do a vaginal exam and see if u feel the hole from inside the vagina. If it's there,, then you gotta decide whether to see if it heals or not. I dont see why it wouldnt, but i wouldnt wash it out under high pressure, cuz that could keep it open,,, maybe just take her to vet,,,,

If it was just above the vaginal area, the possibility of her colon being punctured would be my main concern. That could lead to bad, bad problems. If is has punctured the vaginal wall where urine could seep into the body, that would be a concern also. I would let a vet check her out to be safe. Good luck.
