Well the heat has slowed us down ALOT but the last two hunts we have been able to catch a couple good boars.. We caught the first two a couple weeks ago. We were able to catch the big hog first thanks to my cousin's 3 legged airdale and then the spotted hog took my two dogs for a long run probally over 3 miles the way the crow flies.. We sold them both.. The black boar went 285.. never would of thought it he was small framed but super thick..   You can tell how heavy he was by how wide his toes are when he stands.. Spotted hog went 190.. he probally was around 200 before he took us on a long race lol..Nice to shut a runner down

Caught this one the other morning before work.. We had him tied by 6:45.. My buddy said he saw a big track on his place so we decided to try him.. luckily he was still in the area and Emily was able to find him.. Idk what it is about my buddy's place but its only 17 acres and every summer we catch a couple good boars on it.  We can hunt all the neighbors place too but for some reason they only stay on his little place.. It makes it nice when summer time comes around.. He had some nice teeth! The best thing about both hunts was that we didn't get any dogs cut. My Bulldog did get one little skin cut but nothing bad.. Thank the Lord!
