Working close to the south Canadian river little ways north west of Oakwood off of highway 270 and I've seen hogs the last three mornings in a row in the wheat fields all sizes and a couple 300+ boars. some of y'all Oklahoma boys need to run some dogs over here if you don't. Make me wish I had a couple with me.

Im close to south canadian and about 4 mile from 270 but can't place oakwood im about 15 miles north of south canadian on 75 hwy.

I'm Northwest of Watonga bout 30 miles might have the river wrong. I'm from east Texas just working up here so not real familiar.

Yea it ain't much, does have two gas stations and feed store. Saw a big group of about 20 or so this morning in the same wheat field. Its only in the lower 60's in the mornings perfect weather hogs running over me and no dogs and I'm working.  |

Hey Mark,
You and Cole... BAYEDHARDHOGDOGS above need to get together while your up there. He is a good friend with us and hunts alot down here as well.
Cole this feller is a Huntington boy and would probably make your a jam up running partner while he is up your way.
Just an Idea while yall are neighbors.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I think I'm working bout three hours from Bayedhards stomping grounds. With the hogs I been seeing their wouldn't be any hunting cause they r with in 150 yds of the road. Pretty sure even my dogs could catch one.

Hey Mark I sure wish I was closer we would put some on the ground  I do no one guy that may be closer to you may pm him he is a good guy trustworthy and may be closer to you goes by caddo co hog dog. |

I have some buddies that hunt around oakwood alot they have some huntn leases and alot of permission on crop land along the river. They catch alot of hogs Or atleast they did till this post

Not sure why this post would stop them from catching hogs. I've not talked anyone for permission to hunt or do I plan to, I'm from east Texas only up here making a living and don't have time to hunt. Just making an odservatuonal post.
