I was just going to let everyone know that we have full blood lacy pups.
They were born this morning around 6am. I have ten. 8 Blue 2 Red.
Their mom hunts hard. Will find a pig easy. She is a registered LGDR
The dad is full blood lacy he would be registered but the people who had him as a pup didnt
register him. He has no bay in him. He is all catch on a pig. He will find a pig.
We run him as a running catch dog with our Jagds.
He caught 4 pigs yesterday. Also a blood dog.

Here is a picture of their mom:

Here is a picture of the daddy:

Here is a picture of the pups at around 8 this morning:

I am located 18 miles west of Hamilton, Tx
I have  5 females 5 males.

I bet they are some good ones. I plan to keep at least one.
I will prolly be asking $200 a piece.
They sell for more but since these are not registered I am cuttin the price.

But ya know papers don't hunt dogs do..haha..
I had a chance to breed to a reg male but my male is just too good!

you can call 254-784-3087

Thanks.
I have heard before that Blue Lacys are not gritty enough to hog hunt.
But mine HAVE proven that wrong. I also know quite a few of you hunters out there
have them and hunt them.
Also my male is a decoy dog for coyote huntin. He is out of some stock from a man named
Jimmy Brooks.

I've never heard of well-bred Lacys lacking grit. If anything they get too big for their britches. Mine is only 30 pounds, but if another dog catches, she's on it. Somehow she has never gotten a real cut, not sure if that is her brains or her agility or dumb luck. I'm knocking on wood just in case.

Jimmy has some of the most consistent working lines in the Lacy world. What is your female out of?

I have 4 blue females spoken for.

I have 1 red female left & 5 blue males.

If you are really interested and want one, please call and we can set up a deposit or something.
Just so if I hold a dog for you, I know you will come thru.

Thanks

Do you know what lines are on the Frank Hartley side? I'm not familiar with him. Also, I assume the sire is compact, all of Jimmy's dogs are, but how big is the gyp?

My females parents are  sire-Spike Hartley dam-fred's little daisy.
Her great grandpa is Riley's Sailor.
As far as the male, like I said he is not registered. We bought him from a man that got him from Jim Brooks.
They said it is too late to register the dog now.

My gyp is a smaller one..she is about 30-35 lbs

Bigl..
My female sticks to about the 100 range when she catches. Haven't had her on bigger here lately
because she was bred and now has pups..
My male, we run him with a cut vest and consider him our running catch.
Last weekend he caught about a 200lber before my catch dog got there.
It just depends. He is pretty dang gritty. So is she.
YOu can see the top pic of her on one.

As far as safe, I trust my male dog. like I said so far the biggest we had him on is about 200lbs range.

Let me know if he is interested.
