well, i've just started gettin my own dogs here recently (bout 6 months now) and i just picked up two younger bay dogs (bout 2years old).  my problem is my partner is getting out of hunting due to being laid off and he's got the only strike dog we had and catch dogs.   i don't have the money to replace them all at one time, so i was wondering if anyone had a place close that i could either run my two bay dogs with them in the woods or at least in a baypen.  both dogs are showing a lot of promise and i need to keep em on hogs.  i'm willing to help with any expenses incurred, any work needed, i don't care if it's fixin fence, cleaning kennels, weedeating, mowing whatever ya need help with.

i live in Hallettsville.   i'm pretty new to hunting hogs with dogs.  i've been doing it for about 6 or 7 months.  i've been with a guy that's been doing it for a while bout 3 times but didn't care for some of the things he did.  i used to train labs, and german shorthairs for upland and waterfowl.  BUT i've never trained a hound type dog before.

my brother in law got laid off bout a month ago and he's having a hard time finding work (oilfield) right now.  that's who i was hunting with.

so i'm needing someone with experience to tag along with and hopefully be able to bring my bay dogs as well.

thanks

I'm also close to you and Cody knows where I live.  Any time during the week just give me a call and we can make a morning hunt.

If you would like to bring your pups up on week end just let me know and will work them in the big wooded pen.
