1-25-09 not the way planned

We had a rough day, we hunted to the end of this old road at the camp with nothin. Saw some old signs but nothin fresh, so on the way back I decided to walk the dogs a lil further in the woods. Within minutes my main two dogs were bayin good. I had a feelin it was a good one because those two usually catch. When the rest of em got there it was that sound we all love, the bay sounded awesome, then a yelp. At this point I started toward them with the CD. I got pretty close to them bout 10-15 yards away but couldnt see them it was some nasty thick stuff. Dogs were bayin and yelpin so I let Red loose, just as I did that he broke bay. I ran back to the road and listened. The bayin started back up, then one of my best dogs appeared from the woods, cut bad on his side and fat of his neck. I got him situated and headed for the others that were bayed. He broke again, after bout 30 minutes of nothin I started trackin. I tracked them about a mile and found them with the hog but he broke again, but this time i called them back. two other dogs were cut, not as bad as the first but bad enough to put them out for awhile. I think all the dogs will be fine but will have to keep an eye on my male lacy. THANKS GOES OUT TO JUSTIN for his help in fixin up my kids(dogs). So a post goes out to anyone with some good short to medium range dogs close to conroe area, I wanna get him and my lead dogs are out for a bit..Thanks again to justin and anyone that will assist.

sorry to her ab out your dogs not for from in cleveland I caught a hog today and did not go huntin someone elsle dogs were bayed in my back yard good luck on your next trip

thanks everyone, so far Hank(my lacy) is doin good, today is just the day after and he's perky again.. keeps tryin to load up..he wants revenge, but hes sittin for awhile.

just an update, the other two dogs(female lacy, and female cat) are back to themselves, Hank is doin great gettin better everyday, still sore, but healin up fine, we are gonna get payback, thanks for all the comments.

Well guys, goin after him tomorrow, down 2 dogs, hank(still healin) and lacy(fixin to have pups) but lilly and red with my two pups are ready, i'm hopin with less dogs he won't break so quick and we can get him down...will let yall know tomorrow night...all dogs are fine and will make 100% recovery..thanks for all yalls comments and sympathy.
