I have a two year Old bluetick has not ever trashed until the other night and he struck and treed a bobcat need some help on how to break him from his breeding that's what he is for but I only hog hunt

Yeah I cried  :'( but did not have a collar on him at the time and I don't have a use for a bobcat dog can't eat that to good

Nah, I love cats and wish we had more of them down here. My good buddies digs and my girl shea caught one on the ground one night in the cut corn. It was pretty rad.

Obviously im picking on you about the cry me a river deal, if you've got a lot o bobs, I guess they're trash like everything else.

Since this seems to have upset you terribly,.....the one thing you DON"T want to do is ruin a potentially good dog because he doesn't run what you want him too. He IS a hound and a treeing one at that.....so, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If he does like to tree a cat now and then, at least he won't be on a deer race leaving the entire territory. Heck you might sell him as a cat dog.....you never know. Then go buy a hog dog with the money.....having a tree dog isn't always a bad thing.

A bluetick trashing never have i heard such a thing. Lets get this straight the bobcat just killed a choate and was eating on eat when your bluetick came along and ran him up a tree. Now that we got that staight  I woulld keep hunting him and see if he did it again he might relize that is not what he was supposed to be doing.
