Any of y'all have a garden?

I have had a big on the last few years, but this year I had a hard go of it. I was a little behind because I changes the location. Then planted everything and as dry as it was the rabbits moves in and started cutting everything. What they didn't cut down, birds were pulling up. I planted purple hull and blackeye peas and my green beans twice and as soon as they started pushing thru, the birds were pulling them up. Same with squash, cucumbers and okra.

I had to replant peppers and tomatoes twice. Something was stripping leaves off the plants and I had fenced the whole thing with chicken wire. I set some small leg traps around a pepper that was being stripped and the next day there was a hen cardinal in one of them After that, all stripping and pulling stopped. I guess it was the one bird doing all the damage.

Any way, its been tough and with all the set backs, my garden was done before it got started. Ive made a few tomatoes and peppers, a few squash and egg plant, but its all winding down.

I am just lett8ing it play out so I can work it up soon and start on the Fall garden. Hopefully we'll see some rain and cooler temps.
