He runs deer dogs. He's got some nice kennels. I was taking some pics of his waters as the were all hog nipples. I had told Circle C I did not think they would work good for dogs, but Timmy had his turned upside down, and the dogs were working them just fine. I mentioned their teeth having issues, but he stated he never had given their teeth any thought. He's been using them for years. I do have a certain way that I expect my dogs to act at feed time, but they are not this professional about it. Checkout the video, and tell me what you think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6XCVWOHe0c&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Timmy said it took him and his 10 year old son 3 days to have them doing it consistently. It was very impressive.

I went inside the pens to take some pcs if his waterers, and they all stayed in their houses. They were wanting to be pet, but knew better than to come out. Timmy said Coy (his son) feeds them and cleans the pen every day. This way he does not have to worry about them knocking him down or something worse. Coy is little, but really understand hounds. I'm hoping my son is very similar. Coy has a great foundation to build on. I can almost garrantee he will have a stellar pack of his own by the time he is 16.

Dad gum. Where would you begin to train them like that. that many dogs minding all at the same time that's well beyond impressive. I'd dang sure like to know the trick.

I get mine to do that, but I only have 3 dogs. I feed mine individually though, so I havent tried it with them all at the same time. The way I did it was to hold the food bowl and I wouldnt put it down until they calmed down and would sit. I would correct them if they lunged for the bowl when I put it on the ground. After they would just sit still for about five seconds I would say "eat it" and then the just tear it up. Now I can walk into their kennels, they sit on their own and they wont touch the food till im outside the kennel and close the door and then say "eat it" the two cups of food will disapear in about 45 seconds. I dont even think they chew it.
