Yes, anyone over 16 will have to buy a hunting license and management area stamp.

Management area permit $26.50 good for 1 year from date of activation.

Non-resident 10 day hunting license $46.50.

Ok. Would you say that applys to those actually 'taking' the hog or everyone tagging along too?

It applies to those that are "hunting".  There is a lot of "grey", but that is normal with laws. As long as everyone is cool, the officiers usually understand what is going on.

I'll agree with the grey area. Have you narrowed down what areas are available?

Those of you that are interested, would you hunt public land if it was all we could get?

Josh if its one of the WMAs wouldnt we all need to put in for quotas?  And on the quotas cant you only have 3 "helpers"?

Depending on dates I might make it. I am down with riding with someone, if there is anyone going from the Waco area, or we can take my rig. I can sleep 2-3 and have a big ole truck with lots of leg room.

So nice of you to help someone out.  But on the other hand if "you do" it may be occupationaly hazardous for me to be there when it takes place.  Oh and checked with FWC, both the lakeland office and Tampa office and neither officer had any clue as to any place that you cold run dogs for hogs without it being a quota hunt.  Me personally im not running my dogs on public land during gun season.
