my dear noelle you forgot where you got them yeller dogs from and they are not sullivan dogs they in fact are out of the spivey catch strain from huntington texas my old black brindle gyp spook, and the old clettie pate stock dogs from near the carter pasture.spook was by a gyp by tiger joe lynn whitworths dog and my old find dog pd burks.matter of fact most of them dogs you got now come from kevin burks dog strain.lmao get it right ole boy.they out of some of the best old strains in polk county.

Ok thats what I was a thinkin. Curtis is only one I could think of with that blood but was throwed off from the initial area stated. Do you boys get any ringnecks throwed in your litters?

Them two I got now mite have been the burkes family pride, but the(good) ones I was referring to mostly came from your mentor Charlie fairchilds strain:-) and that big brindle of willies I bred to that gyp I got from Jake years ago... They mite have been your culls as u say lol but I had a littermate Sullivan gyp I got same time u had them two back when we met in the sawmill and bred to a brindle male outta one of charlies dogs i got years ago but they was better than most and I was glad to have em and would love to get em back We was raisin and huntin the same dogs way back then even tho we wasn't compadres till a few yrs ago... Got my first dog from Charlie when I was about 12, and had lotta them bloodlines in my yard since then, got em all killed and was thrilled when I talked u outta Ol Jake and now
got Josie and Jill now if u will una$$ big red I'll b ecstatic!!! Remember my roots run deep up there too and my kinfolks had access to most the dogs u did all these years... And I got their culls lmao... U know there ain't enough money in the world to buy them dogs that I got from u there first class whatever they came out of and one in particular has made some dam good pups, all rough and all bout hard headed as you are
Grin I had just about quit hog huntin cuz couldn't find any good dogs under 2000$ and that wore out SKS I swapped u produced a dog thats worth more to me than all the thousands I spent on other dogs and for that I'm grateful and u have a friend for life. (unless u swap me another buckin sob like this gray mare!!!!)

No doubt in my mind Kevin burks knows what he is doin when it comes to breedin and raisin some good dogs nobody is lucky enough to keep having dogs that prove themselves  and as he said doin it with the best old strains in polk county which i had lost access to and he knows his $&@! ... one of the few fellers that when he talks, I listen. Absorbed alot of information from him on dogs and huntin prospectives. And no I'm not kissing his a$$ but gotta give credit where it's due... Btw the Josie gyp is the one bout to drop puppies out of my pointer for those who been callin about them.

well you may be right about your choice she is going to make a medium range dog.in these times of everybody being so picky about their ''deer leases''a sure enough get yonder dog is gonna get you in a legal bind evintually.plus you always having to track the sob i'd much rather find five in five thousand acres behind a short to medium dog than have to track to coldsprings lol.josie grampa was like that i scold him and he was gonna find mr hog if it was all the way down at chester.i guess me and you gonna have to start raising dogs together any time kw get his hand on one you get em,oh and thanks for ole tiger back.
