Yep sc im bk n tx, finally lol lemme see ive been to venice, la pascagoula, ms, freshwater city la, now sabine tx been everywhere in less than a week. We were under a platform yesterday and a hi pressure line blew out and had a GOOD flashfire goin! Scared the crap outta me!!! Had an eventful week.

Haha duh sry lol  um it really just depends in the company and ur experience to b honest. I talked to one fella who got started off at 100 a day. Some companies will put u at 130 a day green, so it just varies. Boat prices r WAYYY down, when they were still way up some co. would pay alot more. But until they open drilling bk up or another hurricane opens up some construction wk bk up the pay will b low. There is alot of boats just tied up too. |

dang, reason i asked was i had a job offerin doin some tug boat work and it was 23 on 23 off decent pay i think it was 200 a day (not sure) and i turned it down for the job i have now

Yeah its a differnt world out here lol I dont like being away from my dogs and friends, family and such. But i have to make a liveing ima get another land job soon i just hate workin as a contractor its feast or famine. I just havent got around to lookin to hard yet.
