I don't work night shift, but I'm always worried about matt workin so late at night (I know im a worry wart!)...naturally I'll be worried about all of my new friends on here that work at night as well...be careful, and don't drive if you are too tired  |

PastryGirl, I understand your pain! Maurice works the midnight to noon shift offshore, so not only do I worry about him being tired while out on a rig, but that's also the only time that I can talk to him for weeks at a time. It gets frustrating for sure.

Thank you TinyTexasCowgirl!!!!! I saw Matt's smilie rolling his little eyes at me...but at least we care right?! I know oil rigs can be so dangerous as well so I'll keep Maurice in my "safekeeping" prayers! I admire your strength for being able to talk to him so little.. I'm thankful that I get to see matt every day, but when he is driving home at 7 thirty am when its dark and with no one on the road...well i know I would get tired for sure!

is that why your up so late? You never said where Maurice was working when I asked. His still doing hitches in Africa? |

Alan, Sorry I didn't see where you had asked....
Right now he is on the HOS Mystique doing a BOP babysit for ATP at the Green Canyon Block 299 site. But his new home has technically been moved back to the DD2.
I'm up cuz it's been a rough day and I need Maurice, but as usual, he is busy LOL. It's been an extremely rough last few hitches but we will make them through like always.
You still on the ironhorse?
