Its alot harder to train a bear dog, but thats where I would start, like training a coon dog. Get you a coon and spray it with a good bear scent. Getting them to tree is the hardest part for me. If they will tree just keep pouring them on bear tracks.

i was off, so i took my henry dog out to the park and threw him in the river let him chase some squirrels and coons, ran him bout 3 miles before he gave up lol |

im tellin you he has more drive than ive seen in a 25 pound dog   thats what everyone says but and by UKC standards he is correct size and weight, hes already has a skunk and coon under his collar and a trash bin cat has his number   tom you sound alittle jealous your not the guinea pig  J/K |
