Well fellas i got one more dog on the choppin block so to speak lol but idk what to do. She has shown some great potential at times, i think she is gonna turn on later. So should i cull her or give her to someone who wants a free dog. I dont wanna b labled as passin on trash so to speak. I have no problem takein care of business so to speak either. I just dont think that I will give her a fair chance.

shes still young, and if she showed potential I would give her away to somebody that will hunt her. Thats not the same as selling a cull. |

She has been to the woods 4 times. 2 times she did great! 2 times not so great. She bays loose and is not a ruff dog, her frame is really small but boy she can get it. I like her smallness and quickness for the brush we have. If if, she did turn out and i bred her to my male lacy and the best of the dogs came out ruff they wpuldnt have the size flat out! Id b better of with some of those lil nazi dogs on the ground lol

Tom, that does make sense. I see ppl in the dog trade always lookin for a free dog and i msged one fella. She has been put up due to let her mature. I just wanna spend time with this young lacy pup i have. Her size and build fit more for what i like. She just has to meet the rest of the criteria.

I would keep hunting her then, I hunted ole Smokey 5-6 times and was about to send him back where he came from, then bam,.......It would take a boat load to buy him now. And that would only be if i was in a bind. Just keep her in the woods, and try to figure out whats causing her to not do so good.

Her 2nd hog she wouldnt stop bayin lol. Her first time n the pen she wked like she had been through the drill. I put her ib the pen one time since then and she dont want nothing to do with it. Which is ok cause she aint a pen dog. Think ima wk on p and snake and try and get them goin good and leave her on the chain till the spring, just to mature more. The lil girl dont eat nothin lol

I see what your saying now, you like the lacy better and want to put more time into her because you just like her better.
I don't see nothin wrong with even selling the dog as long as your honest about the dog. But thats up to you. I would try to find a youngin or somebody tryin to get started to give her to, if you want to ho that route, but theres a ton of dog peddlers that would jump on that. I put some on here when I was down there, my phone rang non stop for 2 days 2 seconds after I hit the send key. No joke.

Yes sir tom i just like the blue lacy better due to build. The dog in question is also a lacy, just the younger one i would like to breed and i know more about her ped. Where as the one in ? I dont no much about her other than she is a red lacy. My main dog which is a lacy also i believe has some good blood. I had him and his bro from the same litter and they were in the woods at 9 mo old doin good. He got killed in april. I wanna raise my own gyp to breed to him as oppose to find a gyp of someone elses. I like yella dogs alot, but i would like to breed my own line of lacys. Thats my goal.

She went out bout 800 on the last hog she was on that is where she bayed up with the other dogs.

Honest truth the two times she has been on hogs she was step for step with the big dogs. The other two times she would get out mabye a 100 but she seemed cluelees like she didnt know what was goin on.
My lacy deuce that is dead he was a lil stand offish, and ruff.
Ace he is like snake in the way that he is "an everyones dog " . With ace and deuce i never have had to whoop em or hardly yell. Seems they just knew there job lol. Tempermental mabye this red one.
