With the heat we have been hunting from 6am to 8 30am or so. That is the coolest part of the day where we are(central Texas). Dropped dogs at a spot I havent been to in a month or more. Sally and Snapper take off west and Pop knot and Chili head east. Sally and Snap were 500 off when I hear Chili open up. Rally. Pop knot got to her and the rally broke up. Sally and Snapper were on their way. When they got close I hear a lot of brush. They were hot on the tail of a decent sow. Ran 10 feet from us. They got her stopped and we let Kung Pow and Bud go. Caught hog.  Hunting buddy Kory. Got the dogs off and headed to water. While we were getting water to the bull dogs Sally and Snapper tracked 500 or so yards west and bayed. Before Chili and Pop got there it broke. The hog headed east1k yards. While we were getting there it broke again and headed back to where they found him. We got in and saw the dogs in a creek baying with the hog up on the bank. I knew it was going to break but the under growth was thick so I knew it wouldnt go far. We cut bud to them and the hog took off. 50 yards or so later caught hog. I sent kung pow to help. Good boar hog. Pictures dont do him justice.    Got on another hog but he broke and ran for over an hour. Called dogs out and came home.   Went out the other day. Let dogs out and all the dog jumped on track. Came up bayed 600 yards 3 min into the hunt.  On the walk back to the wheelers Chili let out she had found one. It broke and took off. Sally was with her. I caught Snapper on her way to them and snaped her on the wheeler. Pop knot was on his way to them. 1k or so yards I heard them bayed. We got 300 yards from them and I sent Snapper to help. Made our way to them and dropped bud 100 yards out when I heard the curs catch.   Chili the hound cross on left. Snapper and Kung pow.  Bud. After deer season we did some work on my trailer. Got six boxes and room for two wheelers.  |

Thanks for the comments.
That trailer has been the best idea of mine yet. Makes it nice. Wish I had room for storage on it though. Hold two grizzly 660 just fine. Plans to add a water tank at some point.
Allen, chili is getting better each hunt. She is slow on track but her speed is improving. Her nose doesn't miss much. If I can get her head right she should be a nice addition to the pack. Bud keeps wanting to make babies with her. She real loose on a hog.
