I wouldn't laugh too much, thats how all these stupid laws are getting past. It all started with a stupid idea.  Problem is they got the money and the stupid politicians  to push stuff like this into law,  while us sane people with common sense set around and think how crazy it sounds thinken it would never happen  Wink

Gather   up the dogs boys we got permission from PETA to hunt and gather up all the hogs in Texas. They will pay Al your fuel and any trespassing fine you get. If all the hogs are safely herd and brought to them head quaters they will pay you good hard earned money for these hogs.

Let's contact PETA and have them establish some stations around Texas to bring the pigs. We will then charge them a small fee to catch these pigs and bring them into their refuge, and the landowners that graciously allow us to come in and capture the pigs will also be paid a fee. It is a win/win for everyone. PETA saves the pigs, farmers are compensated for the damage done by the pigs, and we are compensated for our time helping PETA save the pigs.

I KNOW we are willing to HELP PETA get this done!!!!

the sad part is that PETA has enough push and backing to make a go of this. I would really keep an eye on this one.

HAHAHAHA!!!!
PETA??? How do you plan to "round" them up??? I'd pay good money to see some peta folks trying to catch a big rank hog. Better have life flight on stand by. I think they need to quit watching L3's tame hogs on NatGeo...

The PETA folks are good at getting bleeding heart liberals to donate money to their organization. Most of these people do not live in the real world but Fantasyland.

One day I was going to work and was crossing the long bridge on Lake Palestine. A water turkey had been hit by a car because it flew too low over the bridge. This lady stopped her car right in the road and was trying to gather up the bird. She could care less that she was about to cause a serious wreck. I got on out of there because an accident was going to happen. However, I did want to see that water turkey take a  plug out of her arm when she got hold of it.

This has been about 8 years ago now when I was selling cars and trucks. I sold the guy from Tiger Creek (the big cat refuge on 14 just north of Tyler) a couple of trucks. If there is a big cat of any kind anywhere in the US he takes his special trailer and goes and gets it.

Their funding comes from donations secured over the internet. Several movies have been made about the place. They were going through 2,500 pounds of chicken a week back then. They also went through several hundred pounds of beef also. Game wardens brought them dead animals they found on the road.

The budget for that place in 2003 was 830,000.00 per year.
