Jake and I loaded up dogs and 4 guys out of the military to go show them a good time. Pulled into the ranch about .6 miles and our 2 pups bailed off truck, they went about 150 yrds and bayed up. There was alot of dogs barking and whining and I looked at Jake and he said something is not right. Grabbed cd and ran to bay and they had them a pissed off javalina. We Beated the dogs off and loaded them up started looking at dogs which they had holes all over them. Lt was bit all over his ear and side of head, hoss was bit on top of the head which you can see his skull in one of the holes and the other dog was bit on top of her head also. So we cleaned out there wounds and went down the Rd about 1.5 and Ernie and Lt bailed off again and bayed about 200 yrds. They had them another vicious javalina. Shocked them off, and checked them out for any other battle wounds. Couldn't find anything too bad, so we went another 5 miles or so and hoss and Lt bailed, hoss went 600 right beside the Rd and Lt went .6 opposite direction. Hoss bayed up, so we took off to hoss and he had a small 140 lb boar with some good cutters. Finally one of our proud solders got to see some blood. Took a couple of pics and looked at Garmin and Lt was treed, had to go way around alot of different rds to get to Lt. By the time we arrived, The hog put the slip on him. Tried to get it going with some fresh dogs but no luck. It was getting late so we called it a night with some of the baddest boys in the military.

That hunt was in West Texas and man if you don't have javalinas you all damn sure don't want any. The boar is 140 lbs on the high end, maybe 125 on the low end. Thanks for the comp.

Good one. Looks like one of our marsh hogs. Smaller hogs with some big hooks.
